The FS209L by Plus Audio is a medium-sized line array system designed for the live event industry and aimed at corporate functions, concerts and installations. It is a two-way passively crossed over design featuring 2 x 9″ low-mid drivers and 2 x 1.75″ high frequency drivers utilizing neodymium magnets. With a power rating of 800w and using only 1 amplifier channel for 2 cabinets, the FS209L delivers a peak SPL of 139dB and maintains a small footprint for quick and easy setup and operation.
Combined with its low profile and 100° horizontal dispersion pattern the system is also well suited for front fill duties and ensures smooth frequency response and consistent coverage for a wide listening plane common in theatres, conference centre and ballroom layouts.
The cabinet’s construction utilizes 15mm and 18mm multilayer birch plywood, finished with a resilient black polyurethane paint for durability. The FS209L’s sleek design is complemented by a black steel grille with acoustic foam, providing both protection and aesthetic appeal.
Boasting a compact size with dimensions of 287 x 772 x 450mm (H x W x D) and a light weight at just 30kg, the FS209L is an excellent choice for discrete installations and rental companies on the move.
